Tomorrow is August 1st. I'm not sure how summer has flown by this quickly, but August is now here.  I have to make sure the next few weekends are full of fun activities so when I blink and its September, I don't feel like I totally forgot Summer was happening.  The nice thing about LA though is that Summer doesn't really end when August does.  

This week has been strange since my boss was out of town.  I had a very long list of to-dos which I got through, but it was nice because I could get a lot done on my computer from places other than the office.  For example, yesterday I spent the day in Malibu with my sister at my aunt's house.  I got some work done while I was laying out...if only everyday could be like that.  I also have about one season left of the West Wing and once I finish I'm going to take a serious break from T.V. shows.  These series take up too much of my time, which I'm the first to admit, regardless of how much I enjoy them.
