Life Lately

So I have been keeping pretty busy the past few weeks.  Jose was out of town for two weeks and I was spending a good amount of time with family and friends while he was away.  Being alone at my apartment every night is definitely a motivator to make some plans and see people I've been meaning to catch up with.  It's always nice when you and a friend or close family member find the time to hang out and talk, talk, talk.  It's therapeutic and feeling like no time has past makes it that much sweeter.  Jose's brother stayed with us last weekend and this weekend his mom and sister are here which is always a good time.  My dining room table is getting a lot of good use out of it since that is where we all congregate when we're together.  I have also been binge watching The West Wing, which I know, talk about NERD ALERT, but it really is an incredible show with impeccable writing and it's teaching me a lot about the inner workings of the White House, which is very interesting.

In other exciting news! I'm booked to work with an editorial stylist next week on a Target shoot for a few days.  The pay is out-of-this-world, for me at least, and I will be getting some great experience.  The stylist I'm working for is also the nicest woman and what I would call a dream boss; someone who knows when to play and when to be serious, she expects the best from you, and will always treat you with respect, a.k.a dream boss.  Here are a few photos from my life lately, hope you're all having a nice weekend.  This summer heat has me sweating buckets, always really attractive, but I'd take it over cold weather any day.
